Why does the box turtle cross the road? To get to the other side! This box turtle (Terrapene carolina carolina) was crossing the road somewhere south of Green Hill in Warren County. Why does the box turtle cross the road? To get to the other side! This box turtle (Terrapene carolina carolina) was crossing the road somewhere south of Green Hill in Warren County.
