Ranunculus ficaria

This patch of lesser celandine (Ranunculus ficaria) is in Broad Ripple along the Monon Trail just south of Brugge Brasserie. Lesser celandine is an invasive plant that is appearing in many places close to White River. It is displacing the native plants in the low areas in Holliday Park. Picture taken April 4, 2010.
